My First Car Ride

OMG!

I had my first experience in the car. Let me tell you people I was scared. I didn't know that mommy and daddy was going to take me for a ride. Fred and I usually go out walking in the evening. I overheard mommy say that she wanted to stop at the store to pick up something and that she was taking the two of us with her. (I do pay attention you know)

So, we get to the car and Fred jumps in the back. Daddy comes near me and I immediately jump in any door that's open. Unbeknown to me, I jump into the back seat of the car and not in the back with Fred. We are separated by a gate. I am blown away people. Who separates brothers and sisters from one another. THESE PEOPLE DO!!! SERIOUSLY PEOPLE.

Fred immediately start whining, I am thinking that it's because I am not with him but later find out is because that's the way he is when he is traveling. I start to whine because I want to be near him and I am just plain frightened. We get to this place called "Doggie Park" and Fred jumps out and I try to squeeze in the smallest of places to hide. Daddy opens the passenger side door and I am pulled out. Mommy comes around and gets me and I feel like ahhhhh! safe at last. We go on this wonderful journey of smells and sounds and dogs barking. I am in heaven. I keep my eye on mommy to make sure that she is still there and I continue on my new experience.

If you haven't figured it out yet. Daddy isn't my favorite.

At the end of this journey of the "Doggie Park" I finally am able to get in the back of the truck with Fred. Fred is like what is she doing in my space. Believe me people, I made myself extra small. Plus, Daddy was giving Fred water and he made the mistake to offer it to me and if he didn't tie the leash down I would have bolted to freedom. Whatever that is.

All-in-All, I kinda like the walk. I am still not to keen on getting in a vehicle yet and feeling the movement. It just reminds me of some bad things.

Nikki.
